INNOVATION: A CHALLENGE FOR THE STUDENTS

Hakob  Panosyan,  the  Director  of  ARPA Institute of Los Angeles, California, USA  was  hosted  at  ASUE  Big  Hall,  who  visited  the  University  by initiative  of  the  RA Ministry of Diaspora  to  present  the  Institute's annual invention competition.  Koryun Atoyan, the  Rector,  Gagik  Vardanyan,  the  Vice-Rector  of  Science  and   International  Relations,   the collaborators  of “AMBERD”   Research  Center  head  by  Samvel  Avetisyan,  the  Director,  the  Deans,  lecturers,  students  and  PhD  ones  participated  in the  meeting.

Koryun Atoyan  welcomed  the  presents  and  introduced  the  guest.  

The  representative   of  ARPA  Institute  introduced  the  latters’    history,    mission,  implemented  projects,  competitions  and  etc,  and  then  presented    the  requirements  of  “Invention” competition. 

 The ARPA Institute Invention Competition is a university level contest designed to encourage university students active in science, engineering, mathematics, technology and creative invention, while stimulating their problem-solving abilities. This prestigious challenge also recognizes the productive relationship among students and their mentors that is essential to economic growth and leadership.  The  prizes   are as  follows:

the 1st  2000 dollars,

the 2nd 1000  dollars,

the  3rd 600 dollars,

the 4th 400 dollars.
