STUDENTS OF SYRIAN CITIZENS OF ARMENIAN ORIGIN ARE INTEGRATED

ASUE  Media  and Public Relations  Division met  and  talked  to the  students  of Syrian  citizens  of  Armenian origin  who  study at  our  University  to  learn whether  there  is  any  problem  to  be  solved  and  difficulties  to  be  overcome.

Note,  that our  University pays  special  attention  to  students  of Syrian  citizens  of  Armenian origin. In this  context  ASUE  Rector  Koryun Atoyan, the  Vice-Rector  of  Educational-Organizational Matters  Mihrdat  Harutyunyan, the  Deans  of  the  Departments  met  the  students  on September 18  to  be  aware  of  the  difficulties  which  they  have  since  the  new  academic year  and  show  possible support.

We  talked  to  the  1st  year  students of  the  Department of Accounting  and  Audit Sirvard  Ashdokenyan   and  Anna Burujyan, the  2nd  year student of  the  Department of  Marketing  and  Business  Management  Lusine Qeshihyan and  the 1st  year  student of  the  same  Department  Mkrtich  Qalayji,  they   mentioned  that during the meeting  with  the  Rector they  had  raised  the  problems  and  difficulties  they  faced.

They  mentions  that  the  lecturers are  so  kind  to  them,  and  always  express willingness to  help  and  support   them.  Anna  and Sirvard  expressed  their  special gratitude to  the  Dean of  the  Department of  Accounting  and  Audit  Ashot  Matevosyan  for  his  special  attention.

The  students  also  spoke  about  the  difficulty  regarding  Armenian language,  which  isn’t a  serious problem; “We  speak  Eastern Armenian, therefore write  in such  a  way,  which becomes  a  case of  orthographic  mistakes,  but  our  lecturers  support and  realize  us”.

Some  of  the  students expressed  their  concern  over  the  problem of  different  subjects. The  Rector  recommended    the  Vice-Rector Mihrdat  Harutyunyan  to deal  with  the  problem; “We  have discussed  the  issues  regarding education process,  different  subjects,  clarified their  concerns”,  mentioned  the  Vice-Rector; “The  students  are  satisfied  with, and  we  are ready to  support  them in future”.
