Information for future soldiers: representative of the RA Ministry of Defense was at ASUE

ASUE invited personnel and military education representative of the RA Ministry of Defence, lieutenant colonel Serob Sujyan to inform the students about the new program of the Ministry of Defence. The information was addressed to graduate students who soon would be recruited to defend the motherland.

ASUE Vice Rector on Education-Organizational Matters Mihrdat Harutyunyan, Head of Educational Division Aghavni Hakobyan, deans of departments were present at the meeting.

Serob Sujyan presented one of the programs of Ministry of Defence in details, which offered university graduates to study at Vazgen Sargsyan Military University or Armenak Khamperyants Military Aviation University for one year before being recruted to army and serve for 2 years as an officer.

The speaker mentioned that the Ministry of Defense will cover the living expenses of the future officers while studying and during the 2-year military service, they will receive a fixed salary and will have a number of advantages.

The main specialties are artilleryman, air defense specialist, tanker and commander of a rifle platoon. Those who are interested must apply before the end of the academic year.

At the end of the meeting, Vice-rector Mihrdat Harutyunyan thanked the guest and wished good service to all soldiers.
