ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan Congratulated Armenian Press Day

Dear students, colleagues,

October 16 has  become Press staff day according to the  decree  of the RA  Government on April 22, 2004, which later renamed Armenian Press Day.

The first number  of  our University official magazine – “Tntesaget”, was published in 1977, i.e. it is a jubilee for  the University magazine this year.  Koryun Atoyan, ASUE Rector, Professor congratulated on this  occasion.

The  Armenian press, dear friends, once again celebrates its glorious holiday. And as  every  year, this  year  also we  remember and  mention the source from which it has originated, has gotten the meaning, has become a history.

This important role and honor in the fate of the Armenian people is reserved for “Azdarar” magazine, whose origins became crucial in terms of our spiritual and cultural revival and growth. Our University is not indifferent to this holiday because inside its walls tireless and dedicated people – staff of University periodicals, employees  of  scientific-publication  and production divisions, work and provide the publishment of “Tntesaget” magazine, “Messenger of ASUE” scientific magazine due  to their journalistic, editorial and printing activities.

Dear colleagues, on September 20  “Tntesaget”  celebrates its four decades. The first number was published in 1977, which  was then a weekly newspaper.  “Tntesaget” has been our guide during these decades  and today continues to be our caretaker, the translator  of our ideas  and propagator of our values.

Many of us have left our trace in its pages – articles, event materials, achievements, scientific  and  literary creations.

We must admit that as an University magazine, it  has not only worked and tried to preserve its face, something to say, but also has chosen the upward path, always updating and improving both the form and the content. Today’s “Tntesaget” is the brilliant proof of what is said.

We are well aware that printing press is a difficult job, the result of creative search, consistency, commitment,  so I wish the staff of "Tntesaget" health, energy and endurance to make the new decades of the magazine more fruitful and to transfer the well-formed good tradition to generations.

I heartily congratulate the holiday of those, who has made the  history of the Armenian press, the anniversary of our magazine and wish working success and new achievements.
