ASUE-UMEF: Double Degree Joint Education Program Launches
For the first time this year, students, who want to continue Master’s degree study have the opportunity to study at Swiss UMEF University (Geneva) via ASUE Master's Degree Program in Business Administration (MBA) double degree joint education program.
The results of the 1st admission are already known. 31 students have overcome the admission threshold exams (written and oral forms) conducted on September 4 and 13 by UMEF Professors Michael Akerib and Djawed Sangdel, 10 of them have excellent results and their tuition fee will be fully compensated, the others’ tuition fee will be partially compensated (70% and 50%). Graduates of our University, Yerevan State University, American University of Armenia and French University in Armenia are among them.
Khoren Mkhitaryan, Head of Science and PhD Division, informs that the trainings will start on October 7, Professors from the US, Canada, Switzerland and other leading European countries are involved in teaching process, who have not only theoretical knowledge but also a great practical experience.
Here is the schedule of trainings (all in English):
October 7-8, 14-15 – Marketing Management,
October 20-22 – Corporate Finance,
October 27-29 – Leadership and Team Building.
The training courses are organized on module based principal, on Friday afternoon and weekend. At the end of the program the graduates will get two diplomas – Armenian State University of Economics and Swiss UMEF University. The program aims at developing students’ knowledge and skills in strategic management, financial management, human resource management, project management fields”, stated Khoren Mkhitaryan.

Another important information for students interested in the program: they can attend 1 or 2 trainings to be organized in October for free of charge (for participation they should address a letter to yerevan@umef-university@ch e-mail, until October 3, 2017).
