ASUE Representatives at the Republican Conference Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Tadevos Hakobyan

On September 28-29,  the Republican Conference on “Current Issues of the Development and Deployment of Economy  of the Republic of Armenia and the Near East” dedicated  to the 100th anniversary of Tadevos Hakobyan, famous scientist, historian-geographer, author of a number of fundamental works,  held  at Faculty of Geography and Geology of  Yerevan State University, which was attended  by Samvel Avetisyan, Senior Researcher of  "Economic Research" Program of "AMBERD" Research Center, Program Coordinator, Doctor of Sciences /Economics/, Professor, Sofya  Ohanyan, Associate Professor of the Chair of Philosophy and Armenian History, PhD in Philosophy,  Senior Researcher of "Public Policy and Security Research" Program of "AMBERD" Research Center, Gayane Tovmasyan, Researcher of "Economic Research" Program of "AMBERD" Research Center,  PhD, Volodya Manasyan, Lecturer  of the Chair of Environmental Economics, PhD in Geography. At the  plenary session of the  conference Samvel Avetisyan and Volodya Manasyan presented co-authored report on “Climate Change Impact on Adaptive Landscape System and Agricultural Zoning Specialization”, which caused great interest.

Sofya  Ohanyan presented an article dedicated  to  the evaluation of one of the remarkable works of Armenian thinker Yervand Frjanian of the early 20th  century - “The Armenological value of Yervand Frangyan's "Atrpatakan" Composition”.

Gayane Tadevosyan reported  on “Development Opportunities  of Recreational Medical-resort type in the Republic of Armenia”. The report caused great interest, active  discussion was held on development opportunities of recreation and  other types of tourism in Armenia.

Participants of YSU, other Armenian Universities, National Academy of Sciences of the  RA, as well as Artsakh and Russia presented  reports during  the  Republican two-day-conference.
