Workshop in Tsakhkadzor: on the Way of Libraries’ Reform

On September 19-20, the Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan, conducted a workshop on “The New Role of Libraries in the World of Digital Technology and Information Accessibility” in Tsakhkadzor, which was attended  by Mariam Mnatsakanyan,  librarian of ASUE Scientific Library. Representatives  of the Armenian Universities, as well as regional libraries, professors of Armenian State Pedagogical University after Khachatur Abovyan  were among the  participants. Selection of  participants  was held through the online submitted applications. The workshop was filled with interesting and rich program, and remarkable reports were  presented.

The will to reform libraries gives optimism to libraries’ development and future.
