New Horizons for Specialization: Informative Meeting on “Erasmus +”

The activation of international cooperation is one of today's imperatives of higher education development. Armenian State University of Economics goes on strengthening interaction with foreign Universities,  pointing  out new ways for cooperation. Since 2015 our University is a member of “Erasmus +” international exchange program: enabling ASUE students, PhDs, researchers, as well as members of academic and administrative  staffs to  study, to teach or to retrain at partner Universities and similarly, to host the representatives of these Universities.

Today, the responsible for the program – ASUE Foreign Relations Division, conducts series of informative meetings, aimed  at providing students  comprehensive information on “Erasmus +”.

What is “Erasmus +”?, Who can apply to?, What are the requirements for applicants?, What opportunities does the program offer?, and What does the student benefit from the participation? comprehensive answers to these questions will be given during these meetings.

The speaker – Vard Ghukasyan, Head of the  mentioned Division, besides clarifying the above mentioned questions, presented the outcomes of ASUE participation in the program during these years, according to which about 48 students, 35 professors  and employees of our University  have been hosted at  foreign Universities  and our University  has  hosted about 3 students, 20 professors  and  employees of foreign  Universities.

During the meeting, students participating in the program provided necessary information, focusing attention on living issues in abroad.
