Competition - Main Challenge in Today's Market

Remarkable observations and useful suggestions for future marketers: today, ASUE Foreign Relations Division initiated unique lecture on “Introduction to the Competitive Theory”. The speaker was John Branch, Ph.D. Ed.D. Academic Director of Part-Time MBA Programs, and Clinical Assistant, Professor of Business Administration, Ross School of Business, Associate, Center for Russian, East European, and  Eurasian Studies, University of Michigan

. The  meeting was attended by Gagik Vardanyan, Vice Rector of Science  and International Relations, representatives  of Faculty and administrative staff, PhDs  and students.

Welcoming the attendees Gagik Vardanyan stated, that it’s great honor to host Professor of University of Michigan at ASUE, then highlighted that John Branch has rich pedagogical and research experience and called  students to participate  in the  discussion around the  presented topic actively, to ask questions.

The  foreign professor also expressed happiness for delivering a lecture for  ASUE  students, visiting Armenia for the first time. He briefly introduced his biography, circle of scientific interests – marketing, he studies customer’s behavior, etc. (the Professor’s Academic Curriculum Vitae is  available HERE).

The  speaker considered the competition as main challenge in today's market, then presenting interesting examples, spoke about the phenomenon of competition.

The  lecture was  very interesting and  was passed in an active atmosphere.
