Health Tourism – Meeting at ASUE

Stepan Mantarlyan, Assisstant Professor  of the  Chair  of Tourism and Crisis Management, PhD in Economics, conducted open  lecture within the frames of “Quality management of tourist services” course. The  speaker was Vardges Avagyan, Chief Doctor of “MAPLE LEAFS”
Armenian-Canadian Medical Clinic, urologist. The  meeting was attended by Nelli Shahnazaryan, Head of the  mentioned  Chair, professors.

 Highlighting medical knowledge  for the  specialist of  tourism, Vardges Avagyan called the  students to maintain and promote a healthy lifestyle, to pass preventive checkups, to be guided  by only the  doctor’s consultancy. They also discussed the prospects of health tourism.

Stepan Mantarlyan stated; “In foreign Universities medical knowledge, first aid skills of students, dealing with tourism specialty, are greatly highlighted. We also  try to increase our  students’ skills  and knowledge by conducting  such format lectures”.
