ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan Met NKR President Bako Sahakyan
Today, Bako Sahakyan, President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, met Koryun Atoyan, Rector of Armenian State University of Economics, during which cooperation issues between ASUE and Artsakh State University were discussed.
ASUE Rector presented relationship between ASUE and Artsakh, noting that our University drew great attention to military-patriotic education and, in this context, a number of visits were organized to the RA and Artsakh military units.
ASUE students and employees provided support during April-four-day War, in addition, ASUE Rectorate Board has transferred 10 million AMD to Artsakh Government. Rector stressed that the University has close relations in education sphere. ASUE has cooperation memorandum with Artsakh State University, within frames of which exchange of experience, mutual visits, donation of books and technical equipment have been conducted. ASUE invites colleagues and students of ASU to “Tntesaget” sport-health resort in Dilijan for summer rest. An attempt was made to strengthen the cooperation in scientific-research sphere. Our University suggested to carry out any research in ASUE “AMBERD” Research Center aimed at development of Artsakh’s economy.
Bako Sahakyan highlighted such interaction, expressing hope that relationship between two Universities will be strengthen and expanded.
Slava Asryan, Minister of Education, Science and Sport of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Manush Minasyan, Rector of Artsakh State University, other officials, as well as Sergey Kharatyan, President of ASUE SC, attended the meeting.
Summing up the meeting, ASUE Rector highly evaluated the meeting, noting that the President also evaluated ASUE efforts and interaction with Artsakh State University, attaching importance to strengthening further cooperation, expressed his support for initiatives aimed at the development of the education sector. At the end of meeting Koryun Atoyan awarded a souvenir to the President.
Note, that ASUE Student Council will act with cultural program in Jrakan (Jebrail).
