Interactive Game-Competition by Economic Theorists Participation

Today, the  lecture  of  the 2nd year of Theory of Economics specialty was delivered in a competitive atmosphere: students checked their skills on antitrust policy law by a game-competition. Narine Khalatyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Theory of Economics, initiated  the  measure within the  frames  of “Antitrust Policy” course.

Grigor Nazaryan, Dean of Department of Regulation of Economy and International Economic Relations, Harutyun Terzyan, Vice Dean, welcomed  the students.

The  Dean highlighted  the initiative; “Such measures are opportunities to apply theoretical knowledge in practice”.  

Active discussion was held both quoting the law and presenting examples, international practice.  Students were awarded economic books.

“This competition aimed at strengthening students skills  and knowledge. Without knowing the laws, they can  not protect their interests as a consumer”; the lecturer mentioned  and added that such measures  would be continued.
