“Language of Love”: Olympiad Brought Together ASUE French Speakers
Within the frames of Days of Francophonie in Armenia a French Olympiad was held at ASUE today, which brought together Bachelors, Masters best students, PhDs. Chair of Languages had organized the Olympiad, which was attended by the Head and lecturers of the Chair.
Students and PhDs presented the selected interesting topics focusing attention on public and social issues, achievements and developments in the field of economics.
One of the presented topics was social security for the elderly and disabled people in France. Lecturers Nektar Khachatryan and Jema Manukyan assessed the speeches.
“French is the language of love, romance”; 1st year student of the Department of Marketing and Business Organization Zara Grigoryan mentioned, who has studied the Language since an early age at French studies school. She has prepared an interesting report on features of modern marketing and particularly, advantages of e-Marketing. “I would like to study in France. Since there are not many people around us with whom I can communicate in French. I read French magazines, watch TV programs in order to “use” and develop the Language”.
Susanna Chalabyan mentioned that the authors of the best reports will be awarded French books. “As there are few French speakers all participants are winners”; Head of the Chair stressed.
