Young Orators’ Competition

It’s  already two decades  that initiator and organizer  of “Paruir Haykazn” young orators’ competition, Professor of  the Chair of Management, ASUE,  Doctor of Philosophy, author of “Rhetorics” University textbook Valeri Mirzoyan brings together the students with rhetorical skills, creates an opportunity to speak about their problems with  beautiful, pure Armenian.

Today, the  regular competition was  held.

11  students  tried to demonstrate their rhetorical skills during the  allocated 9 minutes. The  students  have  chosen modern topics that relate to the 21st century’s global issues (environmental protection, Internet addiction, etc.), emigration, principles of equality, execution, leadership.

Both members of Faculty staff and students are included in the jury. Mary Stepanyan attracted their attention and won maximum points. The  winner  was awarded monetary prize, diploma and a book inscribed  by Valery Mirzoyan, and  another 10 participants were awarded monetary prize and inscribed books.

At the  end of the  measure  the Vice Dean of the  Department of  Management Mary Badalyan congratulated the  participants. She  welcomed such initiatives and expressed  gratitude  to  Valeri Mirzoyan.

“Paruir Haykazn” young orators’ contest was sponsored (books  and  monetary prizes) by ASUE  alumni, Doctor of Economics Davit Harutyunyan, who was  the  winner of the  mentioned competition years ago.
