Master Class at ASUE: Yerevan Outdoor Advertising Festival

The first Yerevan Outdoor Advertising Festival is hold on November 20-25.

Within the frames of the festival master classes on advertising, innovation and communication, discussions, conferences and awarding ceremony are conducted.

Today, the first master class on “Innovation in Outdoor Advertising” by currently Filmmaster Productions, previously Leo Burnett creative director Saadi Alkouatli with over 19 years of experience in diverse advertising media  was  conducted at ASUE  as a result of  the cooperation between ASUE SC  and the organizers of the Festival.

The measure  was attended  by  Head of Yerevan Municipality Department of External Design and Advertising Araz Baghdasaryan, representatives  of Faculty staff, students, employees of marketing and advertising fields, guests.

Vice President of ASUE SC Grisha  Amirkhanyan welcomed the attendees mentioning that the University of Economics which trains specialists in the field of marketing and advertising  participates in Yerevan Outdoor Advertising Festival.  Head of the Chair of Marketing, ASUE, Ararat Zakaryan introduced  the speaker, attached importance of holding the Festival and said that advertising is an indispensable tool for promoting the products.

Araz Baghdasaryan submitted more information on the Festival, who is  also ASUE  alumni.  He  mentioned  that the Festival aimed not only to hold  award ceremony, but also to evaluate Yerevan advertising campaigns, and the evaluation will be carried out  by the World-renowned specialists,  and the Festival is unique opportunity for students to participate in master classes by renowned specialists for  free.

Saadi Alkouatli highlighted the role of advertising  and mentioned  that advertising various technologies enable to impact but in addition to it the creativity is the most important one.  Various advertisements were  presented  to the attendees, which were marked  with new  approaches. After viewing each advertisement Saad Alkuatlin interpreted it. The speaker highlighted  the role of the idea and the report in advertisement addressed the audience.

It’s planned to present reports to the  festival’s  honorary Jury by students of  marketing and advertising specialty of different Universities after the  master class.

Note, another meeting is planned to be  hold at ASUE within the frames of the Festival: a master class  on “Creativity in Advertising”  by Melanie Clancy on November 24 at 14:30.
