Delegation of Swiss University met ASUE faculty staff and students

Today, Rector of  Swiss  UMEF University, Professor  Djawed Sangdel,  and   Vice Rector of Educational Affairs, Professor  Alain Hoodashtian met  ASUE  Faculty  staff  and  students at  ASUE  Big Hall,  the  meeting  aimed  to present the  planned cooperation between ASUE  and UMEF.

Gagik  Vardanyan, Vice Rector  of  Science  and International Relations, Khoren Mkhitaryan, Head of  Science Division, Deans, Heads  of  the  Chairs,  collaborators of  different  University subdivisions  attended  the meeting.

Gagik  Vardanyan welcomed  and  presented the  guests, then highlighted University’s internationalization process.

Rector of  Swiss  UMEF University, Professor  Djawed Sangdel  mentioned  that he’s so  glad to  be  hosted  in ASUE,  then  presented  their  University,  which has representations  in 4 countries.  He  referred  to academic curricula, learning  process. University  staff is replenished by  specialists  from different countries  all over  the  world.

Professor  Alain Hoodashtian  spoke  about  the  perspectives  of joint academic  programs.

After  the  speeches of the  representatives  of  Swiss University  the audiences  raised questions regarding the  planned MA programs, research  opportunities.

Summarizing the meeting Gagik Vardanyan called  the  students to  be  active in international educational programs.  The  Vice Rector  mentioned that  all  programs  aimed to  improve the quality of education.

Note, that a cooperation memorandum  is  planned  to  be  signed  between ASUE  and  UMEF.
