The possibility of introducing agricultural insurance conception is being developed: series of SEG seminars

Research group "Agro insurance" came up with the second interim seminar on "About the prerequisites for the development and application of the concept of agricultural insurance". The seminar was attended by Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan ASUE representatives, staff.

The head of Research Group is the director of the research center "Amberd" Samvel Avetisyan. Members of the group are Ph.D., assistant Armen Vardanyan and Ph.D. Associate Professor Arman Dagunts, Professor Hrachya Tspnetsyan.

In his opening remarks Gagik Vardanyan, noted that the topic was of great socio-economic importance.

Samvel Avetisyan delivered a comprehensive report on the work of SEG. The professor said that the system of agro insurance was important for RA, and many (even a number of international organizations) are engaged in studying of its investment opportunities.

Afterward reports were made by Armen Vardanyan and Hrachya Tspnetsyan.

After the presentations, those present asked questions.

At the end of the seminar Gagik Vardanyan noted that the results of the group are satisfactory.
