Peter Tumanoff and American students at the AMBERD Research Center

AMBERD Research Center of Armenian State University of Economics hosted Professor at Marquette University (USA), Dr. Peter Tumanoff and students from the same university who were in Armenia within the framework of an educational program implemented by YSU.

The guests were welcomed by the Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD, Vardan Atoyan. Later Senior Researcher Gayane Tovmasyan made a presentation. First, she presented AMBERD’s history, activities, research directions, partners and the done work. The second part of the presentation was devoted to the development of tourism in Armenia, key issues, sightseeing, spiritual architecture and cuisine. It should be reminded that Professor Tumanoff was at ASUE in the second semester of the 2015-2016 academic year within the framework of "Fulbright" Scientific Program sponsored by the US Government. Peter Tumanoff lectured at different departments of ASUE, as well as at Gyumri and Yeghegnadzor Branches.
