Starmus event: the University of Economics hosted the RA President, President of ASUE Board Vahagn Khachaturyan and prominent astronaut Jean-Jacques Dordain (photos, video)

The former executive officer of the European Space Agency, rector of the International Space University Jean-Jacques Dordain has lectured at ASUE that grouped dozens of ASUE students, lecturers, university employees that have enjoyed the speech of the prominent representative of astrology.

Dordain has met the RA President Vahagn Khachaturyan before that as well. And they had a meeting back in 2021 when the President was the Minister of the RA High-Tech Industry, discussed the perspective to launch the satellite to the space that had become a reality after just one year.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan has welcomed the guests and those present, valued the participation of the University of Economics in this festival of science and progress, highly assessed the presence of famous scientists at our university as well as expressed her gratitude to the organizers of Starmus VI Armenia festival.

Dordain’s lecture was dedicated to the future of space and role of youth in it. His speech was motivating: to develop and improve, to overcome failures, learn from mistakes and freely implement their ideas.

We should point out that the lecture of Jean-Jacques Dordain at Starmus VI International festival was entitled “Message to the Earth’s population from the Earth”.
