Our University has hosted 2 students from partner Universities for the 2nd half of the 2018-2019 academic year within “Erasmus +” program: Lili Martirosyan, the 3rd year student of University of Economics – Varna (Bulgaria) and Andrey Kassap, the 2nd year students of Stefan cel Mare University (Romania). They have been studying with a special (modular) program for international students since February 11.

Our colleagues of Foreign Relations Division inform about the students and we have an opportunity to talk with them at the end of the study, learn about their impressions from the University and Armenia.

Lili, who lives in Bulgaria, is an Armenian and, as she says, has come not only to learn, but also to recognize the homeland better. "I have relatives here, but the study within “Erasmus +” program was an unique opportunity to communicate with my native people, to get new friends, to study my culture and history. The University's daily life is also interesting and full, thanks to our teaching staff”; Lili stated.

For Andrey, this period of study was also cognitive. The foreign student who has first seen Armenia has a great impression.

"Most of all I like the fantastic hospitality and warmth of the Armenian people. Armenia is wonderful with its people. We have enriched our knowledge and skills, communicated with a new educational culture at ASUE".

The semester is coming to an end, Lili and Andrey are summing up the acquired knowledge and will leave soon. To the answer of the question, “would you study at ASUE, if you have the opportunity?” - the students responded with enthusiasm – “Surely” .

Good luck to our foreign students.
