On October 8, the final online coordination meeting of the project Reforming Master Programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova (REFINE) implemented within the framework of the "Erasmus +" program took place. Sona Matinyan, Head of the International Relations Division, and Arpine Jraghatspanyan, Chief Specialist of the same Division, participated in the meeting.

Both the representatives of the Armenian-Moldovan partner Universities, and ASUE members presented the process of the implementation of the "Corporate Finance" Master’s degree program at ASUE within the framework of REFINE. Our delegates also provided details to the colleagues about the Career Counseling Event at ASUE, the invited lecture organized jointly with the project associate partner, other events and activities that stimulated the implementation of the Master's degree program, enabling students to establish closer contacts with the labor market and its representatives.

In addition to the implementation of the Master's degree program, the participants of the coordination meeting also discussed the project aimed at disseminating its results, quality assurance, project sustainability and continuity, management activities, recorded results, and other related issues.

Let’s recall, REFINE addresses the need for reform of study programmes in Finance with regard to contents and teaching methodologies / pedagogical approaches. Moreover, it addresses the demand for alignment of study programmes with labor market demands to provide the Armenian and Moldovan economies with highly skilled graduates in Finance. Against this background the wider objective of REFINE is to enhance the quality and relevance of six existing Master (MA) programmes in Finance in Armenia and Moldova through targeted reforms.

More information about the reforms carried out at ASUE within REFINE, the students' opinion about them, the literature obtained is available at the active link.

Article regarding REFINE is published on the 3rd issue of ASUE "Tntesaget" magazine (see 21-23 pages).
