The results of the "Transferring V4 expertise in knowledge/technology transfer" project were finalized at ASUE
One more international project was successfully completed with the participation of ASUE. An informational event on the project output dissemination of the project "Transferring V4 expertise in knowledge/technology transfer" took place on April 26 at the Armenian State University of Economics. The organizer was ASUE and the participants were ministries, representatives of university leadership, infrastructures, small and medium-sized enterprises, heads of chairs and researchers interested in the program.
ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan and director of ‘Candle’ Synchrotron Research Institute Bagrat Grigoryan held welcoming speeches.
Diana Galoyan addressed the main purpose of the project which is the commercialization of research and assistance to the cooperation of enterprise-research infrastructure in Armenia and Georgia based on the successful experience of Visegrad partner countries, highlighted the implemented important processes within one and a half year. The rector also pointed out that although there were impediments caused by the pandemic situation but ASUE as a program coordinator organized a two-day online workshop devoted to the transfer of knowledge and technology, competition to encourage the cooperation of business-research infrastructure and other events to fill the gaps existing in the sphere.
“I hope that the University of Economics within the frames of the project will provide competitiveness, development and advancement between SMEs and scientific research infrastructures”- Diana Galoyan pointed out and informed that full information on the program is available on ASUE official website and the website of the program.
Bagrat Grigoryan expressed his gratitude for effective partnership and highlighted that the program enabled all to gain knowledge and experience, make discoveries, and make their companies known and enabled specialists to demonstrate their capabilities.
The leading specialist of ASUE international relations Ani Petrosyan presented the concise description of the program, results and influence and spoke about the workshop competition, study visit and other issues.
Afterwards, ASUE Rector awarded the certificates to participants and winners of the Contest for the best cooperation plan/vision with RI/Academia held within the frames of the project– to Symphony of Nature, GebeCert and AIP Tech, Revalcon and Elmasys companies.
Then, director of Amberd Research Center Davit Hakhverdyan finalized the results of the project and reported the most essential stages, targets, works done, highlighted the correct choice of V4 countries and pointed out that post-Soviet countries Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia having chosen the effective route for the development transferred experience that was useful for the educational system and entrepreneurship of Armenia. The speakers expressed their gratitude to ASUE as a program coordinator for its effective works and organization of the informational event.
The project is co-financed by the Government of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia by means of Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
The aim of the project is to commercialize scientific research, promote culture of enterprise-research infrastructure cooperation in Armenia and Georgia, based on successful experience of Visegrad partner countries.
