Schedules of Part-time Programs and Retaken Exams
Today, ASUE Rectorate Board’s regular session was held with full agenda issues regarding academic process.
Before passing to agenda issues ASUE acting Rector Ruben Hayrapetyan emphasized that the competition of recruitment and selection of scientific and academic staff has started, and is being conducted according to established order.
“As this is a special and unprecedented process for our University, organizational issues may be caused, and Rectorate Board members should submit complete and accurate information”; the University Head stated.
Then Diana Grigoryan, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, presented the agenda issues: schedules of part-time programs academic process of the 1st half for the 2019-2020 academic year, retaken exams of the 1st half for the 2019-2020 academic year, as well as the 2nd half for the 2018-2019 academic year. The Rectorate Board confirmed the presented issues included in this document.
After agenda issues being presented a number of current issues were touched upon, including students’ application-letters addressed to ASUE acting Rector Ruben Hayrapetyan.
Ruben Hayrapetyan drew the attendees’ attention on examination process, noting that it should be implemented at a high level, good studying students should not experience difficulties cause of technical or organizational problems. Vice Rector Diana Grigoryan stated that the examination process is under control, the duration and outcomes will be pointed out, and the caused problems should be solved.
ASUE Head also stated that student el-surveys are going on and although there is about 80% participation at this moment, it has been decided to extend the process.
