Vahagn Khachaturyan was Re-elected as the Chairman of ASUE Board

Today, the new composition of the Board of the Armenian State University of Economics, approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, held its first sitting. ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan congratulated the Board on New Year and Christmas, as well as on being included in the new composition of the Board.

The first issue on the agenda was the election of the Chairman of the Board of "ASUE" SNCO, before the election, the sitting was chaired by Gagik Aslanyan, the oldest member of the Board, Associate Professor at the Chair of Management, PhD in Economics. He nominated Vahagn Khachaturyan, an economist, former Chairman of the Board, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, noting that during the past year under his chairmanship the University worked very effectively and registered many successes. The Board elected Vahagn Khachaturyan as Board Chairman by open voting. The latter thanked the Board members for the trust, noting that the efforts of the Board should be combined to achieve the goals set by the University, to solve the existing problems.

Then the Board approved the issue of making changes in the work schedule of "ASUE" SNCO Board, after which ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan reported on ASUE annual activity for 2021, 2021 budget execution results and 2022 budget (the reports are published under the "Reports" section of the "Documents" heading at ASUE official website).

After the Rector’s reports, the Board members raised questions, highly evaluated the results of the University’s annual activities and expressed readiness to support the further development of the University. The Board approved the University’s annual activity report for 2021, considered the 2021 budget execution results as satisfactory and established the 2022 budget.
