Welcome Day for International Students at ASUE
On November 14, ASUE welcomed its international students. The event brought together students from Ghana, Cameroon, Russia, Bangladesh, Haiti, and India, who chose ASUE as their educational institution, as well as exchange students continuing their studies for a semester within bilateral cooperation programs. The goal of the event was to help students integrate into the university life and foster a warm and welcoming environment.
In her welcoming speech, Lusine Danielyan, Director of the ASUE Department of International Relations highlighted that ASUE offers high-quality educational programs meeting international standards, providing top-tier economic education. The event continued with an engaging ice-breaker to help students get acquainted.
Anush Isoyan, Senior Specialist at the International Relations Division, introduced the key activities, details of the educational process for international students, and the benefits of studying at ASUE. She highlighted the importance of students' quick adaptation to the new environment and effective learning, noting that ASUE provides all the necessary conditions along with staff support.
The final part of the event featured an interactive quiz about Armenia and ASUE for the students. The winners received ASUE-branded gifts.
At present, ASUE offers education in English for international students, including BA in Management and MBA programs. This academic year, 91 international applicants have applied to ASUE. Eighty-five of them received approval from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia. Among them, 46 first-year students have already been enrolled and started their studies on October 14.
ASUE also collaborates with the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) Interparliamentary Assembly University, hosting two students from EurAsEC University and one from Saint Petersburg State University of Economics.
Welcome Day was a testament to ASUE’s commitment to building an international student community and providing enriching educational and cultural experiences.
