“Youth Development” program at ASUE. development of life and business skills, with the help of mentors

With the initiative of ASUE Lifelong Education and Career Division, ASUE joined the “Youth Development” Program aimed at improving the skills of young people. It is being implemented by IAB, International Academy of Business, sponsored by Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia. University hosted the organizers of the program, mentors representing various leading companies. ASUE Rector Koryun Atoyan had a welcoming speech highlighting the cooperation and stressing that employers support the improvement of the quality of education. Rector noted that university always offered cooperation to all the employers of state and private sectors of Armenia, who also wanted to advance the quality of higher education in Armenia. Lusine Petrosyan, Coca-Cola Hellenic Armenia Public Relations represantative, Tamara Hovhannisyan, Head of Human Resources Management Center at IAB, also welcomed the participants, presenting the activities of their organizations and the content of the program. The first was the IAB Academy trainer Hakob Magdis, presenting the self-presentation and communication skills. He conducted a remarkable and interactive workshop that clarified the peculiarities of speech, gestures, dress, posture, behavior, and overall image. After the lectures, the students were divided into groups in the university's newly furnished lobby and with direct participation of mentors and employers continued the training in the format of group work. Head of ASUE Lifelong Education and Career Division Aida Arustamyan mentioned that a number of Armenian universities were involved in the program. It is a three-year program which includes meetings, trainings and other events.
