Combination of Theoretical and Practical Components in One Lecture
Today, the 2nd year students of Management specialty got ready for “Economics and Management” course with enthusiasm.
Sargis Asatryants, lecturer, Associate Professor of the Chair of Management, noted that lectures were being conducted by comparatively new format, in which theoretical and practical components are equally combined, and most importantly, the student and the team work are at the core.
“This course aims at developing students’ entrepreneurial thinking, introducing the necessary tools of entrepreneurial activity, and forming creative thinking. According to the new format the lecturer presents the material during the theoretical part, while during the practical one the student speaks, illustrates in more detail the previously collected information about the topic (aimed at developing students' search and find skills). Basically, students work with teams and everybody is active and motivated”; Sargis Asatryants stated the efficiency of the method.
