MOU: Cooperation Between ASUE and Latvian Youth Development Center Launched
On September 13, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan hosted Aleksandrs Posts, director of the Latvian Youth Development Center.
Welcoming the foreign guest, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan mentioned that the University of Economics emphasizes the need to use non-formal education methods and introduce international educational programs.
"The Armenian State University of Economics is open for any kind of cooperation, especially the one refers to educational and exchange programs of students. We pay great attention to such programs: our University successfully cooperates with foreign Universities, international educational institutions, organizations, "Erasmus +" and other international educational programs are implemented. Our University is ready to consider and implement the programs our students are interested in”; Diana Galoyan noted.
Aleksandrs Posts, in his turn, noted that the Latvian Youth Development Center also highlights non-formal education methods, in this respect, the mutual interests coincide. "What we do is in the interests of the students. I hope that our cooperation with ASUE will be continuous, as we both have one basic value - the provision of quality education".
At the end of the meeting the parties signed a memorandum of understanding, which notified the start of effective cooperation in the field of non-formal education between ASUE and Latvian Youth Development Center.
Let’s recall, that Aleksandrs Posts has arrived in Armenia as a trainer to participate in the seminar/training course entitled "Neet to Work" organized jointly with the German "Copernicus Berlin" Association, which is being held at ASUE on these days.
