UN representative visited our University

In the framework of the elaboration between ASUE and UN today, Anahit Simonyan, the head of Operations of UNIDO visited our University. ASUE Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan, head of the Foreign Relations Division Vard Ghukasyan, library director Armine Hovhannisyan, employees of the university, students attended the meeting.

Note that, in connection with the 70th anniversary of the formation of UN different events are organized in Armenian universities. This meeting was held in the frames of above-mentioned activities and was organized by the department of Foreign Relations.

          In his welcoming speech ASUE Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and External Relations Gagik Vardanyan stressed the importance of the meeting and expressed hope that future economists would take the opportunity to master knowledge that would be useful in their future career.

Anahit Simonyan noted that she was very glad to be in the Economic University, then briefly presented the students the activities of the United Nations, its mission.

In conclusion, the speaker answered the students' questions.

The representative of UN presented ASUE library a book about the organization. Note that a UN Angle exists in the library of our university, which offers students and faculty books, magazines, etc.

Head of the Foreign Relations Division Vard Ghukasyan informed that within the framework of the events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of United Nations a National Model Conference will be organized, which will be attended by a group ASUE students.
