Students of "Project Management"educational program presented new works

Within the framework of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, ASUE and NUACA joint "Project Management" Master program’s first module of the 1st year’s 2nd semester of the "Tourism Resource Analysis and Assessment" and "Tourism Centers Management" training, by the assignment of Assistant Professor at the ASUE Chair of Tourism and Crisis Management, PhD in Economics, Hasmik Hambardzumyan tourism development programs have been developed for Oshakan and Voskevaz communities.
These days the students presented their works. Paruyr Kalantaryan, Vice-Rector on Educational-Methodological Matters and Nerses Gevorgyan, Head of the ASUE Quality Assurance Division were present to listen. The Quality Assurance Division informs that students were presented the tourism resource analysis and evaluation methodology during their trainings, according to which they conducted a preliminary assessment of resources. Then, in order to get acquainted and evaluate the tourism resources, students visited Aragatsotn region, interviewed community leaders and the population to find out what methods needed to develop tourism in these communities and what to do.
While developing programs of tourist attraction, the students were guided by the principles of not requiring large financial investments and the development of community-oriented tourism.
A group of students, who developed the Voskevaz Community Development Program, planned to organize a strawberry festival in Voskevaz, and the other group a quest in Oshakan.
