Ongoing Best Sports Traditions at ASUE: Diana Galoyan Hosted ASUE Futsal Team

After a three-year break, the "ASUE Yerevan" futsal team of the University of Economics returned to the premier league of the Republic of Armenia and has already managed to register its first success this year, winning the "Ararat-Armenia" team /3: 2/ in the second match of the championship.

Today, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Armen Grigoryan hosted them and welcomed the start of ASUE futsal team in the championship and encouraged the team. Diana Galoyan congratulated the team for playing in the premier league again and registering its first success, emphasizing that the University of Economics highly appreciates the role of sports among students, and is always ready to support. "Your successes and victories are the honor of our University, the University Leadership is ready to support you to achieve new victories"; the Head of the University noted and added that she’s ready to be present at the team's upcoming matches and to encourage the players.

Hovhannes Gabrielyan, Head of the Chair of Physical Training, Emergency Situations and Civil Defense, the Chief Coach of “ASUE Yerevan” team, Chairman of Armenian Student Sports Federation (ARMSSF), expressed gratitude to the Head of the University, noting that the futsal team had always felt the care of the University, which was obligatory, then gifted nominal T-shirt to Diana Galoyan.
