RA Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan Was Hosted at ASUE (photos)

On September 16, Arthur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister, MoESCS, was hosted at the Armenian State University of Economics. The purpose of the visit was to take part in the international seminars/training courses conducted within the frames of cooperation between ASUE and German "Copernicus Berlin" Association, as well as in the panel discussion dedicated to the educational policy of the Republic of Armenia. The Deputy Minister's visit was symbolic in the sense that the seminar/training course on "Neet to Work", started on September 10, was summed up and concluded (the participants were awarded certificates), and another one on "Human Change Not Climate Changehas started.

Welcoming the participants, arrived in Armenia from Denmark, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Ukraine, Russia, Poland and other countries, the Deputy Minister thanked for the invitation, highly appreciated this effective format of cooperation between Copernicus Berlin and ASUE, which has been changed into an offline, direct and practical communication from the online one caused by the pandemic.

“We are living in hard times: the immense efforts that make it possible for young people to interact, exchange ideas and offer solutions to the issues of public interest are greatly appreciated. It is gratifying to note that the agenda of seminars cover a variety of very interesting themes; from the impact of climate change on generations to education and employment”; Artur Martirosyan noted appealing the participants to defy forthcoming challenges by fortifying knowledge, as self-education and self-motivation is very important, as every specialist exceeds in his or her field to be in tune with the times and uncover proposed innovations.

ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan, in her turn, appreciated the second cooperation with "Copernicus Berlin" Association, and highlighted the role of international seminars/training courses in the process of exchange of modern and newly created knowledge and experience among the youth, expressing confidence that the participants have the opportunity to gain the maximum.

David Budaghyan, the Executive Director of the Copernicus Berlin Association, and Aleksandrs Posts, representative of the Association, trainer welcomed the participants and highly evaluated the cooperation with the University of Economics. They particularly emphasized the great enthusiasm of the participants, this wonderful opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in Armenia, which bridges all cultural, worldview and linguistic barriers.

During the panel discussion the RA Deputy Minister Arthur Martirosyan, ASUE Rector Diana Galoyan touched upon educational policy of the RA MoESCS , exchange programs with separate countries, the progress issues of the education. The Deputy Minister considered the meeting as a constructive one.

After the meeting the participants of the seminar/training courses attended the Welcome party - 2021 organized by ASUE Student Council.
