Delegation of PRC Embassy Hosted ASUE

The delegation of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia headed by the Counsellor to the Embassy Mr. Zhou Hongyou visited today the Armenian State University of Economics and met with ASUE Rector, Professor Koryun Atoyan. The Embassy donated computers to our university, within the framework of cooperation with our university and AMBERD Research Center.
At the meeting the sides touched upon the opportunities of cooperation of ASUE and Chinese universities, particularly exchange of students and lecturers, implementation of joint research programs. Preliminary arrangements were made to deliver lectures on Armenian-Chinese multilateral ties by PRC diplomats next academic year.
It should be noted that the initiator of cooperation of our University and AMBERD research center and our Chinese partners is Vardan Atoyan, Doctor of Sciences (Political Science), Deputy Director-Senior Expert of AMBERD Research Center, Special Expert and Visiting Professor at the Central Asia Institute of Shaanxi Normal University.
P.S. ASUE signed a cooperation memorandum with Shaanxi Normal University in 2016. AMBERD Research Center in its turn signed a cooperation agreement with Central Asia Institute of Shaanxi Normal University in 2017. A China auditorium, with the support of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, was opened at our University on April 19, 2018,
